Homelink

Our Homelink service aims to help individuals develop independent living skills which will help them maintain their tenancy. We help with life skills such as DIY, budgeting, advice and training, healthy eating and employment opportunities. We strive to help and assist individuals within Caithness to achieve the best out of life through the support of our experienced team.

We work towards enabling people to independently live within the community, our Homelink service is provided throughout Caithness. We work with clients to be active members of the community, attending local groups and classes to promote confidence and socialisation with peers. People’s individual needs and preferences, and providing an adaptable service is paramount for us.

We support clients with managing their tenancy, paying bills, shopping and cooking. It is important to us that each client lives the life they want to achieve with our support. We have a dedicated team of support workers, some of whom have worked with us since 2003. Staff have varying backgrounds and interests, and so we have a diverse and experienced team. Most staff have SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or are working towards this. All our staff are registered with the SSSC and are required to continually work towards their personal development.
