Summer Stay & Play Activities for Children

This summer we are running the popular Stay & Play sessions again! We have changed things this year. Sessions are now only 45 minutes (except the Film Club) and two sessions will run back to back in the morning for two different age ranges. We ask that parents stick to these age ranges as the activities are suitable for specific ages of children. Also, for our ratios, we require a certain amount of staff to children.

Monday’s: Bouncy Castles from 11am-2:30pm

Tuesday’s: Craig’s Sports Day in main hall

Wednesday’s: Film Club (except Wednesday 26th July) in Youth Hangout

Thursday’s: Craft & Activity sessions in Youth Classroom

Friday’s: Bouncy Castles 11am-4:00pm

All activities (except the bouncy castles) have to be booked and paid for in advance. This is to confirm your child’s place and help to prevent no-shows and¬†gives the chance for as many children to come as they can.

Activities can be booked by phoning reception on 01955 608 530 and you can pay over the phone, or message us on Facebook or pop in to the centre.

Summer holidays aren’t too far away so be quick!

Prestwick Cycle Challenge- Photos

A few photos of the Prestwick Cycle Challenge charity dinner we hosted on Saturday night.

Prestwick Cycle Challenge was set up many years ago to raise money for charities. Cyclists cycle over a part of Scotland for three days, often 100’s of miles. This year they finished their cycle in the Pulteney Centre for a pre-ordered three course meal. We had nearly 80 people in our main hall for a three course dinner. It was a great night and we received some great feedback!
A thank you to the following:
Old Pulteney for the donation of bottles of 12 year old so we could give our guests a complimentary dram.
Whisky on Tour for their kind donation of two whisky staves as a memento for two lucky winners, which went down a storm, they winners were delighted.
Donaldson Designs and our art class for making the lovely centre pieces for the tables.
and Fiona Steven one of our waitresses who piped for us to welcome everyone.

Our staff did a fabulous job on the night and worked well together as a team. This was our first ( and largest!)  inside catering event so was a big task.

Well done to all the cyclists who cycled hundreds of miles over three days to raise money for various charities- you certainly deserved your dinner and a dram (or two!) after what you have achieved!

Here are a few photos of the main hall (set up and arranged by our staff), the staff who worked and our licensed bar all set up.

Activities

We have a range of activities at the centre from young to old. Everyone is welcome to these activities, so don’t be shy and come along and try something new! To find out more information on these activities, you can click on the tabs to the left.
