Over the past two days we have been closed while we undertook annual training. We also had a team building competition which was fully embraced by all staff. We are in the process of registering as a nursery and we hope to be able to offer spaces next year. We are developing our area to meet the curriculum requirements for a nursery by improving our outside area and developing more imaginative play through loose parts. There was no budget for the improvements and we don't have spare cash. In teams, staff were split into different sections and brought in what they had scrounged, along with natural resources they had collected during the summer. I have to say they did an amazing job. Apart from the fantastic job they did staff learned leadership skills, got to know some of the 60 staff working here who they may not work with, problem solving and arts and crafts. Well done everyone, will be great to see out wee peoples faces tomorrow 💕 xxView Photo
