Friday 7th & Saturday 8th April
CSCS Health & Safety Training
(CSCS Labourer Card)
The next course we are running will be 7th & 8th April.
The course runs from 3pm-6pm on Friday 7th & 9am-12pm on Sat 8th April, and all participants must complete the final assessment in order to get their certificate.
With the Health & Safety certificate, you can then apply to Pearson Vue to sit your CITB test, with both of these certificates you can then apply for your CSCS card to work on a construction site.
People have found it hard to get the Health and Safety Training as it is not possible to complete online. The tutor is well established and does training on the Dounreay site.
We have a maximum of 14 places available and all applicants MUST HAVE an open ILA account.
Please apply for your ILA now if you wish to be considered as you will not be accepted unless you have ILA available.(This process can take a number of weeks)
Please note there are three stages to gaining your CSCS card and this could take around 3-4 weeks to complete with it then taking a little longer to apply for your card.
Normally the course costs in excess of £200 each to complete (including the workbook & assessment) but by doing this through the Pulteneytown People’s project this will be paid for by using your ILA.
How to apply for ILA:
If you would like help applying for your ILA please come along to our Job Club which runs every Friday 9.30am – 1 pm
